Mr. Kaviraj Singh is a graduate in law from University of Delhi (LLB, 1996) and a post graduate diploma holder in International Trade. He is also a graduate in Industrial Psychology. Mr. Kaviraj Singh is Founder Partner of Trustman & Co, Law Firm, in the year 1998. His expert areas include Public Advocacy, Advising on Doing Business in India, Legal Strategy and Dispute Resolution. He is also Managing Director, India of MNC i.e. Empire Global Venture LLC.
His vision is to provide highest quality services to the clients and cater their diversified legal requirements with the best possible outcome. Along with providing top notch legal assistance, he is also a Philanthropist, fervent supporter of Pro Bono work and a mentor to the budding lawyers of the country.
His passion is to mark a presence of Indian legal fraternity around the world which is reflected by his present & past Professional affiliations as- Founding India Chapter Chair of The New York State Bar Association’s, International Section. He has written various articles on Doing business in India, FCPA compliance in Asia, arbitration laws etc. which have been published in New York State Bar Association, International Section Journal, and many more global publications. He was a Board Member of Governing Body, Aurobindo College, University of Delhi wherein he was appointed by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi.
He was the Director, India Head in New York State Governor’s Office to promote Trade and Investment between New York and India to find local partners and verification of local partners for such companies. He is guiding the New York Companies for doing business in India. For his ‘Extraordinary Contribution’ to NYSBA, he was conferred ‘Emeritus Chapter Chair for Life’ from NYSBA-International Section. He was the Vice- Chair of International Section of American Bar Association. He was Director Legal of Indo- American Friendship Group. He worked for US- Exim Bank and power of attorney holder on behalf of Additional Attorney General of US. He was the Managing Director at Empire Global Ventures, New York, USA. Apart from this he held many other positions, Co-Chair of External Affairs Committee, Indo American Chamber of Commerce Federation of International Business Association,
He supervised and was main opinion holder to reform legal industry as well as seek the opinion of legal fraternity sponsored by Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL). He Authored a book, ‘LAW & HER’ and it is amongst the best five bestselling book India. He presented report to Government of India on How to make India an Arbitration Hub?’ He has been quoted globally by news agencies and is regularly invited to speak Internationally. Also, under his guidance and expertise Indian National Bar Association successfully completed the project on; How to Improve Criminal Justice Delivery System in India sponsored by Department of Justice, Union Law Ministry, India.
