It is with profound grief and a heavy heart that the Indian National Bar Association (INBA) informs you of the passing of our revered leader, Padma Bhushan Dr. Subhash C. Kashyap, today at his residence.
As our long-standing President, Dr. Kashyap was the guiding light and foundational pillar of INBA for years. His immense wisdom, visionary leadership, and gentle guidance shaped the very trajectory of our association. His departure leaves a monumental void in the entire legal fraternity. The passing of Padma Bhushan Dr. Subhash C. Kashyap is a monumental loss to the nation, the legal fraternity, and everyone who values the study of the Indian Constitution. As a legendary constitutional expert, scholar, and former Secretary-General of the Lok Sabha, his contributions to understanding and preserving India’s democratic and parliamentary systems are unparalleled. His authoritative books like Our Parliament and Our Constitution have guided generations of lawyers, students, and researchers.
