To coincide with the Indian Constitution Day celebrations, INBA hosted its 10th Annual International Conference titled “72nd Constitution Day” on November 26, 2021, at Constitution Club of India, Delhi. This was the first on site conference after Post Covid.
It was a Round Table Conference which witnessed participation from Legal Luminaries, Senior Government Officials, Legal Departments of Fortune 500 companies, International Law Firms, Senior Lawyers and Judges from across the globe. The main goal of the conference was to provide a platform for the Legal Community to discuss and deliberate on several important Law and Policy issues.
The conference began with the address by Sh. Kaviraj Singh, Secretary General, Indian National Bar Association welcoming Guest of Honour, Prof. S P Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Law & Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, GOI. Shri P K Malhotra, Retd. Secretary, Ministry of Law & Justice and Chair, Editorial Committee, INBA, Mr. Suman Jyoti, Khaitan, Founder Advocate, Suman Khaitan & Partners, Vice President, INBA, Shri G R Raghavender, Joint Secretary , Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice and other reverend guests for the day.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Hon’ble , Prof. S P Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Law & Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, GOI and other luminaries by lighting of lamp and address by Prof. S P Singh Baghel. His said, “We are Indians and on this day we should not forget our national language is Hindi and our Indian culture. Constitution is all about rights and duties. Duties we need to abide in our day to day life”.
There were around 35eminent speakers sharing their views at the Round Table Conference. who shared their experiences during the conference on Legal Issues Post Covid. INBA also celebrated 7th Annual Awards felicitating the Legal fraternity leads in various sectors. Awards were presented by Mrs. Veena Ralli, Organizing Secretary, Samadhan, Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre and Mr. Per Oberg, Judge, Administrative, Sweden, Inindi, Member of Sweden Indian Business Council & Consult. All in all the event was a good success and Prof. S P Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Law & Justice congratulated INBA for organizing and celebrating the 72nd Constitution Day at the perfect venue; Constitution Club, New Delhi.
