Mr. Luv Tanwani works with Cummins India Limited (A Fortune 500 US Company) as its Managing Counsel. He is responsible for the overall legal and regulatory functions of Cummins India Ltd.’s Power Generation, Generator Technologies, Distribution Sales/Services Business in India along with Group Litigation. Luv also serves as a Company Secretary with a group entity of Cummins in India. Luv has over 11 plus years of experience in Legal Operations encompassing Legal Strategy Planning, Litigation, Business Partnering, Advisory, Compliances, Ethics & Investigations. Luv holds the distinction in administering legal operations across India. Luv received the Emerging General Counsel of the year Award & General Counsel of the Year in the Manufacturing Category in 2018 & 2019 respectively by Indian National Bar Association. Litigation Management, Business Advisory, Compliance, Risk Mitigation, Contract Management, Global Projects, Business Partnering & Government Relations are Luv’s main work areas. Luv is graduate in Commerce and is a Postgraduate in Law from the University of Pune. Luv is also a qualified Company Secretary and is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Luv has also authored several articles which has been published in legal magazines/journals. Luv also serves as an Executive Council member of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce in Pune.
