Mr. Shailendra K. Maheshwari, Esq. has been appointed as the Chair of the Washington, DC Chapter, Indian National Bar Association (INBA).
Mr. Maheshwari is a partner in the top international law firm of Dentons and has over 15 years of experience in legal practice. Mr. Maheshwari focuses his practice on Intellectual Property Litigation and Counseling, with an emphasis on Patents in all technology sectors. Mr. Maheshwari is a frequent visitor to India, having giving lectures on relevant IP issues and providing legal guidance to Indian companies that have issues in the United States. He is a scientist by training with a B.Sc. in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland. He completed his legal education from Fordham University in New York. Mr. Maheshwari stated, “I truly look forward to my role with INBA as I believe it will allow me to continue to expand the relationships that I have been developing with India.
