INBA LLM Fair May 09, 2018 at New Delhi and May 11, 2018 in Bengaluru

Indian National Bar Association under the flagship of Shri Kaviraj Singh, Secretary General,INBA organized the 2nd Annual Edition of the two-city “INBA-LLM India Fair 2018 in Delhi and Bengaluru to enlighten and provide the students with all the necessary information, helping the law graduates to get enrolled with the esteemed Law institutions and universities overseas.

INBA has been organizing and providing students’ requisite information year-on-year; for getting themselves placed in one of the best law schools.  The INBA LLM fair 2018 at Delhi and Bengaluru saw the participation of 15 Law Schools from overseas viz., Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University, the University of Western Australia, University of Southampton, University of California, Hastings College of the Law, The University of New South Wales, University of Maine School of Law, Birmingham Law School, UCLA School of Law, UC Davis School of Law, The Australian National University, Queen Mary University of London, Auckland Law School, The Graduate Institute, GenevaManchester Metropolitan University from US, UK, Canada and Australia.

The LLM Law Fair was organized on May 9, 2018, in New Delhi at Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel on May 9, 2018, to cover the Northern part of India and in Bengaluru at  Taj West End, Bengaluru on May 11, 2018, covering Southern states.

This exigent fair aimed at providing a perfect platform for aspiring Indian law graduates, on one hand, to meet and explore mutually and academically beneficial avenues of learning and growth. Overseas Law universities and schools demonstrated their sterling academic syllabi and streams, illustrious and scores essential for law students who are desirous of seeking overseas admissions and getting their dreams fulfilled. Senior academicians and management personnel of leading Indian law schools and universities DePaul University College of Law,Durham University,KOC University Law School,Monash University,Newcastle University, Nottingham Law School – Nottingham Trent University,Queen Mary University of London, St. Louis University School of Law, Syracuse University College of Law,The City Law School – City, University of London,The University of British Columbia, UC Davis School of Law,University of Birmingham,University of East London,University of Missouri (Kansas City),USC Gould School of Law  were amongst the panellists at the LLM Fair.

INBA aims to provide support the Indian legal system, acting as a think tank to the Indian legal sector, doing research on various issues concerning law and social justice. Recently INBA’s 2nd Edition of Survey on Sexual Harassment 2018, foresaw that approx. 68 percent of victims generally do not report their harassments due to fear of job loss.  This is one such instance. INBA strives to work vigorously for social cause.

And making an earnest effort INBA took one step forward, in the month of March when United Nation Organization celebrated Women’s Week, INBA launched a book on 100 women redefining and honouring the distinctive women who made a niche for themselves in the Indian society and the world at large. The book,“The Phenomenal She” was launched by INBA at Alliance Francaise, De, Delhi, 72, KK Birla Marg, Lodi Estate, New Delhi, on March 7, 2018, acknowledging 100 women.  The book, “The Phenomenal She” covers the message from hon’ble External Affairs Minister,   Smt. SushmaSwaraj, Hon’be Chief Justice of India, Justice Dipak Misra along with the profiles of 100 eminent personalities from all fields, Judges, Lawyers, Politician, Activists, Entrepreneurs, Bollywood Stars, Sports persons, doctors, engineers, Artists, journalists,  Designers and other professional  who have set an example for others to step forth and carve a niche for themselves, making India proud.
